MCI Technologies was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio with manufacturing locations in both Ohio and Shanghai. We provide design and solutions related to custom interconnectors, precision stamping, molding, and production machining. Our president, Martin C. Ignasiak, has 40 years of experience in interconnect-related industries with 14 patents.

Another company was started by Mr. Ignasiak in 1997, Connectors Unlimited, Inc. and focused on custom interconnect products. CUI’s main customer was GE Healthcare. In 2012 CUI was honored by GE with the Innovative Vendor of the Year award at the annual supplier day sponsored by GE.

SCT Industries was started as a request from GE to supply products locally in China—specifically precision aluminum components. It was established as a 50/50 partnership with its current president, Dennis Chen. In 2012 Mr. Ignasiak sold CUI to Meritec, Inc. in Painesville, Ohio and kept his interest with SCT Industries.
